Dagse manne

Wil bietjie julle opinies hoor. Ek het nog so bietjie elands vleis oor en wil graag droewors maak met dit, maar ek is lus om bietjie n' dik droewors te maak. Is van plan om Can 28 skaap derms te gebruik. Dink julle dit sal moontlik wees in die hitte. Ek het darem n' biltong droeer waarin ek dit kan hang met goeie ventilasie, so vliee is nie n' probleem. Ek is net bang dit raak vrot in die hitte, omdat ek n' dik droewors wil maak. Ek gaan skaap stert vet gebruik

Ek ken 'n man wat biltong maak in December, in die laeveld. Hy hang dit op sy stoep(wat vlieg beskerm is) en gebruik 'n gewone waaier.

Chris. n Pêl van my wat n slaghuis het hang sy biltong ook regdeur die jaar. Passop vir wors. Hy laaik om suur te word as jy nie passop nie.
Maar ja dit is moontlik. Baie lug beweging tussen die stringe. Moet nie te opmekaar hang nie. n Truuk van slagters is ook om die wors na n
dag se hang as hy net winddroog is die worse effens plat te druk. Dit help hom bietjie vinniger droog.
Daar is ook mense wat glo as jy die wors voor jy dit hang in asyn doop, die brommers en vliee minder pla. hou hom maar onder n netjie.
Die asyn kan maar die swerkater wat inslip dalk op n kant hou.

Probeer net weg bly by lang tye van reën weer. As die lug droog is sal dit werk. Rol die nat wors do effe plat as jy kan. Dit help baie met die droog proses.

Ek het al vars Droeewors middel Desember onder n groot harde fan gehang, 2dae en toe ge vacuum.....dit was twee weke se lekker wors in Mozambiek gewees......
