Wil gou hoor, hoeveel % vet sit julle in jul wilds droewors?
Google reken tussen 10-30%.
Ek gebruik skaap vet en verkies dit nie te hard/droog/maer nie.
Dalk 25%?
Ek hoor graag jul opinie.

Ek gebruik 20% vet in my droeewors en 30% in die braaiwors. Werk lekker vir my sonder om te vetterig te wees.

My lekkerste was nog so 25% brisket by wildsvleis vir braai en droog. Die braaiwors het ook nie dunner geword nie. Ons hou nie van vetterige vleis nie.

Ons gebruik nooit vet nie. Gewoonlik op so 6 na 7 springbokke se worsvleis maal ons n halwe lam by saam. En dan van dit maak ons braai en droeie wors.

Vark word galsterig na 'n tydperk, normaalweg 3maande. Indien jy gereeld wors maak, sal dit nie 'n probleem wees nie.

Gevriesde vet sny maklik met n bandsaag. Anders sooos Heinz sê. Koue vet en n lang skerp butcher's knife. Ek sny gewoonlik 40kg se vet in blokkies en vakuum verpak dit in 3kg pakke soos ek dit later benodig.
