Dagse manne

Het iemand dalk vir my n' resep en raad hoe om n' hoender te spit. Moet mens die hoender net verf met n' marinade of kan mens hom dallk spuit ook met n' mengsel soos n' skaap spit.

Hoor graag van julle

Hallo Chris

Ek het hoender al 'n paar keer gespit, en dit was regtig baie lekker.

Ek spuit gladnie die hoender in met marinade nie.
Warm vuur, anders droog die hoender uit
Resep:
Olyfolie (genoeg om die hele hoender te smeer)
25ml-30ml suurlemoensap (vars as jy kan)
Aromat (na smaak) Jy kan natuurlik hier jou eie spesery gebruik, maar aromat smaak regtig vorentoe
Fyn swart peper (na smaak)

Gooi die olyfolie in 'n groterige mengbak, en voeg by suurlemoensap, Aromat en peper by. Roer dit sommer met jou vingers deur.

Smeer nou die hele hoender daarmee, binne en buite

Sit die hoender op die spit en braai tot gaar - ongeveer 45-60 min

Jy kan van die oliespeserymengsel oorverf terwyl die outjie op die spit is, as jy wil, maar dis gewoonlik nie nodig nie. Die geheim is eerder 'n lekker warm vuur.

Chris,

Druk 'n deurgesnyde suurlemoen (halwe) in die hoender - help om die hoender sappig te hou!

Jy kan ook vooraf van Jean se mengsel onder die vel "indruk" met jou vingers.

As jy regtig die koppe wil laat draai...sny 'n lemmetjie in die helfte en druk dit strategies onder die hoendervel in.
