Goeie dag manne

Ek kom vra weer raad by almal met kennis hier.

Ek wil vir my n long range tank agter op my bakkie se bak sit.
EK het nou n paar vra:
1)uit wat bou mens die tank, Sal gewone CQ mild steel werk of moet mens eerder gaan vir stainless en dan hoe dik moet die materiaal wees?
2)Hoe kopel mens die tank? aangesien die tank hoër sit as die bestaande tank en die Fuel cap.

Eniger raad en voorstelle, ander probleme waarin ek kan vasloop met die projek sal wardeer word.

Ek sal eerder vir die stainless gaan, 2 of 3mm behoort die ding te doen. Jy sal hom as n gravity feed moet koppel met n kraan, jy sal hom nie kan ooplos nie, anders sal brandstof by bestaande bradstof kap uitloop, so as jou bestaande tank leeg is, draai jy net die kraan oop en maak jou tenk weer vol.

Dit is wat ek sou doen

Maar persoonlik dink ek dit is n mors van bak spasie, sal hom eerder konvensioneel bokant die spaarwiel sit

My bakkie se ekstra tenk is in die plek van die spaarwiel. Ekstra 85l. Nou jy kry so 5-10l wat gravity feed is daarna moet oorgepomp word. Klein diesel pompie doen dit.

Die voordeel met jou tenk in die plek waar die spaarwiel is, is dit dwing jou om die wiel op 'n meer toeganklike plek te monteer.
Het al in dik modder 'n band verloor en om dan te sukkel met 'n spaar wiel wat op die gewone plek gehou word is glad nie so lekker nie!
