Ek deel graag my nuutste DIY projek.
Kolf op Jaracal gekoop vir die steelbedrag van R2000.00
Toe hy hier aankom het dit gelyk of n bewer aan hom gekou het. Of dalk het hy paar Natal jakkalse probeer doodslaan wat gekwes was.. :laugh:
Hy was voorheen ge vernis en het seergekry in n skietstoel. Nie 'n probleem nie. Ek was lus vir 'n lekker projek.

1ste stap was om die vernis af te kry. 'n Kombuiskasbouer in die Kaap het my raad gegee en ons het toe thinners gevat en al die vernis afgehaal. Daarna is my skuurmasjien ingespan om die res af te skuur. Ek het die bewerbyte met die dremel uitgehaal.

Trueworx se skuurmasjiene het ook die fabrieks afwerking afgeskuur, toe is dit tyd vir n nuwe recoil pad. Die vorige bruin Bisley pad het my laat gril. Ek haat hulle!

Koop toe n swart Pachmayr Decelerator, en laat fit hom by n kolfbouer hier in die dorp.

Nog bietjie skuur, toe is dit Schaftol "Dark" se beurt om sy ding te doen. Na so 3 lae is hy reg na my mening en is dit n ander kolf!

Totale insetkoste: Onder R3000.00
Ek het n plan met die kolf. Sal kom wys oor so week of2 ;)

So lyk die kolf nou op 'n roer.
Die geweer is 'n Howa Varmint .243Ackley wat ek vir my Pa laat bou het as geskenk. Hy weet nog niks nie en sal in die week hoor hy kry 'n gun.

Cerakote in Tungsten en Safety Orange (my pa is 'n Vrystater, so die gun moet darm inpas!), Ackley werk, rail, sneller tune op 1lb en Devcon bedding is deur Trueworx gedoen.
Daar kom nou nog net 'n Wildgame 3-12x56 scope op in Warne Mountain Tech ringe en 'n Trueworx demper dan kan hy die bokke se koppe bars.

eintlik is dit sy laaitjie se geweer wat oupa solank gaan oppas.as hy dan eendag groot genoeg is sal hy hom by oupa erf en darem sentiment hê aan die geweer

Die oubaas het vandag sy geweer gekry en was baie gelukkig! Hy het gladnie so 'n verassing verwag nie!
Sy bynaam is ook op die loop gesit met 'n laser graveerder.

Hou regtig baie van daai Tungsten kleur. Naam op loop ook baie spesiaal. Wel gedaan, dit is lekker as jy die sport met jou pa kan deel.
