Dag manne

In my soeke na 'n toepaslike AR knaldemper het ek op Saimaa Still QD 5.56 Sound Suppressor afgekom...en hulle is plaaslik beskikbaar...

http://saimaastill.fi/portfolios/saimaa ... onnection/

Dis 'n knaldemper wat met QD aanknip oor die geweer se "flash hider" wat blykbaar baie beter is as knaldempers wat aanskroef....

Hier is 'n skakel...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36wFuZkxnv8

By voorbaat baie dankie.

Het so tyd terug n man in Finland gevra wat sy ondervinding is met die SAAIMA en die Ase utra. Hierdie sy antwoord:

Ase Utra pros:

- built like a tank by using excellent precision casting technique they developed and you don't break one, one breaks you before that happens [emoji4]
- because of the use of precision casting, the product is superbly symmetric hence you don't ever have to index the can
- very good suppression decibels
- some models can be used with a standard AR flash hider
- will handle as much full auto as your weapon can endure without melting or exploding

cons:

- they are heavy, very heavy, just like the proverbial tank would be
- because of the use of casting, the product can not be dismantled for cleaning (I don't care, I just wash them with hot water...or don't even bother to do that telling the truth)
- huge back pressure, a little bit less on the "Low Back pressure" model, which really isn't
- the back pressure fouls your gun, your brass and your face
- you need an adjustable gas block on a SLR

Saimaa Still pros:

- built from CNC machined components, so you can upgrade them or change a broken component
- very lightweight
- can be dismantled for thorough cleaning which is good, since the front grille will eventually be obstructed by carbon buildup
- almost no back pressure (I'd say no back pressure, but this is a bit debatable)
- excellent suppression decibels
- according to my tests, will take more ammo without failing than my budget will ever allow me to spend on the range

cons:

- you can mechanically break SStill if you try hard enough, the tube is heat resistant aluminium
- screwed together CNC machined components will never be as symmetrical as a precision casting can be, so you do need to index SStill to keep your zero
- the front grille will eventually be obstructed by carbon buildup, so you have to clean it at some point (haven't happened to me yet)
- you need to use SStill flash hider or muzzle brake, one more item to buy per gun, but they are excellent products

Baie dankie vir die waardevolle terugvoer JGZ!

Ek soek nie die moeilikheid van "back pressure" nie so ek sal definitief eerder vir die SAIMAA gaan....

Waardeer opreg!
Geseende aand vir jou!

Back pressure sorteer mens maklik uit met n adjustable gas block. Ek skiet altwee my ARs slegs met silencers en het geen probleem met gas nie.
