Managing Bowhunters?

Manne, ek praat nou namens Ryan, maar ek dink hy skaaf nog bietjie aan 'n paar goed voor sy pryslys gaan reg wees.

Hy is baie op die pad maar sal wel kom terugvoer gee.

I have said in numerous posts that not all bowhunters are the same - a few bad apples do not make them all bad. I am just trying to reach a happy medium between all parties - to lock people in a hide is not my choice, to put up camera's is not my choice and to be rodgered by the bad apples is also not my choice but the element is there and I need to establish clear guidelines for all parties so that there are no misunderstandings or discrepancies amongst any of parties concerned and the best way for me to establish clear firm guidelines is to put it to the people that make it matter - bowhunters.
Sorry for the slow reply I am busy catching Nyala bulls for the farm 100km away - I am not releasing a price list just yet - there are a few things that need to come into play before this happens and I am doing my homework to start again with a clean slate - getting my house in order so to speak. I am rebuilding my pit blinds, stocking the farm and going all out to make the place a farm of choice to come and hunt on - I might be small but there are two ways of doing all things in life...

Saying CCTV is expensive - well a setup would cost me the same as the loss of one Kudu bull or 10 Impala rams. I hasten to add that bow hunting is not the primary income for the farm it is just a supplementary to help with costs such as wages and maintenance. You must keep us posted on the progress. I would for one also like to see how your piece of heaven looks like. post some pics for us as you redo the stuff.

your farm and the way tou would like to deal with hunters hasme interested to hunt on your farm as well.
