Formaat is dieselfde as voorheen -
•5 bane
•3 gongs per baan-
1 op 400m-600m
1 op 600m-800m
1 op 800m-1000m
•3 skote per gong
• telling het n weighting factor vir afstand en hoeveelste skoot dit is.
• shoots sal weer naby Mtonjaneni lodge gehou word.
• inskiet baan tot op 800m sal weer beskikbaar wees op die vrydag voor die shoot vanaf 07:00h
• baan is beprek tot 60 skuts
• “King of 1 mile” word geskiet vrydag 20ste vanaf 7:00h geskiet.
Daar sal n lys op die inskiet baan wees- jy sit jou naam op en skiet waneer dit jou beurt is. Elke skut kry 10 min om te skiet- dus 20min per span. Inskrywing is R150.
• inskrywing vir saterdag die 21ste beloop R500 per persoon en dit sluit middag ete(worsrolle), aand ete(skaap op die spit) en bepkte verversings op die baan in.
* Geen inskrywings gaan op die dag toegelaat word nie.

Format is the same as before -
• 5 courses
• 3 gongs per course
1 at 400m-600m
1 at 600m-800m
1 at 800m-1000m
• 3 shots per gong
• Score has a weighting factor for distance and the number shot it is.
• shoots will be held near Mtonjaneni lodge.
• sighting range up to 800m will be available again on the Friday before the shoot from 07: 00h
• shoot will accomodate 60 poeple
• "King of 1 mile" is shot Friday the 20th from 7:00 am . There will be a list on the range - you put your name and shoot when its your turn. Each person gets 10min to shoot or the 20min per team. Entry is R150.
• cost for Saturday 21st amounts to R500 per person and this includes lunch (sausage rolls), evening meal (sheep on the spit) and limited refreshments on the range.
* No entries will be allowed on the day.

PLEASE NOTE - NO ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE SHOOTING RANGE OR AT THE SHOOT'S AREA. IF YOU ARE SEEN USING ALCOHOL YOU WILL BE REQUESTED TO LEAVE THE AREA AND WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

If I may ask, what is the reason behind that? I know SA Hunters don’t allow brakes in our area (not sure on other branches) and they say that’s because they cause too much disturbance for the other guys next to you on the line. Surely hearing protection is compulsory for your shoots?

The ZGS takes place on or close to nature reserve/s. The same goes for the MGS (Midlands Gong Shoot) and it is to keep the peace with surrounding neighbours and the parks.

Dit is pragtig daar waar die ZGS gehou word!

Clayton, not only in our area. This is stipulated under point 6 of the Universal Rules, that means it applies to all Branches.
