Winchester 1876

Good day
I would like some help from someone who will know better that me.
A Winchester model 1876 in caliber 45-75
it has not been restored.
Could someone help me with a value of this firearm please

Wildman is jy seker kaliber is nie eerdeer 45-70 nie?

Dit lyk of daardie geweer n paar rand werd is. Dit hang alles van sy kondisie af en hoe oorspronklik hy nog is. Ek het so vinnig gegoogle en hulle verkoop in Amerika vir die 45-60 vir so tussen $ 3500 tot $ 5000, maar die 45-75 loop hier by die $ 12000.
Daar is baie modelle en variasies (bv. loop lengte, agt kantige loop ens. ) wat die prys ook beinvloed.
Ek vermoed van hulle is ook in die Anglo Boere oorlog gebruik. Die beste persoon om mee te praat is Ron Bester van Bloemfontein. ( nie vir waardasie, maar vir geskiedenis)

Die groot probleem met roere soos hierdie is dat hulle eintlik net in die VSA geld werd is. Die groot afslaershuise daar soos James D Julia en Rock Island maak `n spesialiteit daarvan om gewere soos hierdie op te veil en die VSA is ook die land van die Winchester versamelaar. Dis iets wat Suid-Afrika grootliks nie is nie, ongelukkig.

Winchesters is snaakse goed om te probeer peil, veral `n lever-action soos hierdie. Daar kan honderde faktore wees wat `n verskil aan die waarde kan maak, en ek sou baie versigtig wees om sommer so uit die vuis `n waarde te probeer bepaal. Ek weet Andrew Soutar het al baie wapens na die VSA uitgevoer so dalk is dit die moeite werd om weer met hom te praat. Om `n wapen self na die VSA te probeer uitvoer is een van die moeiliker dinge om reg te kry.
