Rook van biltonge

Hallo
Doen iemand dit? Ek het by ‘n vriend gerookte biltong gekry en dit was baie lekker! My navorsing toon dat jy jou biltonge in pekel mengsel laat lê en dan winddroog maak, dan koue rook jy hom. Ek gaan dit more aand probeer siende dat Vrydag vakansiedag is...
Ek het ruk gelede ‘n smoke genie gekoop wat koue rook maak, hom vandag in my rookdrom geinstalleer, more aand word daar rook gemaak. Enige raad of voorstelle is welkom!

Vertel ons bietjie meer van daardie rookapperaat.
Ek weet die Duitsers het iets soos "rookvleis" of "rauchvleisch" wat op die prinsiep werk soos jy in jou eerste post na verwys. Detail inligting oor die proses is egter skraps.

Die smoke genie het akwarium pompie wat lug deur hom stoot en dan die saagsels aan die smeul hou, die rook kom voor uit, more aand is my eerste sessie met hom.
