How much clearance is there between your barrel and the stock ?
When you shoot does your barrel rest on the stand or does the front stand support the rifle on the front part of the stock ?
Do you press down on the barrel with your hand while shooting ?
Have you checked for doughnuts in your cases ?

Is this the standard Hogue rubber overmould stock ?

Ok.
So my suggestion would be.
1. Get some "better" quality cases like Norma or Lapua.
2. Dont use Lot 81 - use Lot 85 or S385 if you have.
3. If possible try and borrow another scope to test.
4. Stiffen up the stock with some aluminium rods and epidermix.

My pleasure.
The 243 is not the easiest cartridge to load for.
I use 90 grain Accubonds as my "hunting" load and 70 grain ballistic tips for my varmint load.
If I load 100 grain bullets I go straight to S385.

Thanks I will consider that what is your load on the S385 and I see I got a few Lapua that I want to prepaied.

With respect I am not in the habit of giving out loads to be copied as there are too many variables at play between rifles and reloading parameters.
I will say this though.
With a 22 inch barrel your absolute top end max pressure accurate node with a 100 grain bullet is predicted to be at +- 2940 fps @ 59000 psi
The mediocre pressure node is predicted to be at 2830 fps @ 51200 psi

Depends on how fast you want to go.

With a 90 grain bullet and one of the slower batches of S365 (NOT Lot 71, 81,83 or 84) you can achieve a top end pressure node of +- 3130 fps @ 57000 psi and a medium pressure node of +- 3020 fps @ 50000 psi with a 22.0 inch barrel

I currently shoot a 90 grain Accubond at 3030 fps @ 50000 psi from from 23.0 inch barrel Tikka.
Works very well for animals up to Blesbok size.

I see that te book off PMP don't give S385 so my begin weight should be around 40gr -44gr.

4. Koop by 'n pel so 10 of 20 75gr vmaxe of 70gr Sierra varminters en kyk of dit nie dalk jou loop
beter pas nie.

andersens iewers by die geweer.

Kom gee weer terugvoer

Cheers

Belê in kwaliteit doppe soos Lapua of Norma.

Use Lot 85 S365
A full tin will give you +- 150 rounds
Make sure your Winchester cases do not have doughnuts and are prepped correctly.
Load at 67.0 to 67.5 mm TPL
Load 3 cartridges each at 40.0 grains and load in half grain increments up to 42.0 grains
Shoot them in order from lowest to highest and if any of those loads exceed 3150 fps do not shoot the rest.
Look for the load which gives you closest to 3040 to 3050 fps - stop there and give us your data to fine tune.

Lot 91 but start at 1.0 grain lower on your start load and do not exceed the maximum velcocity I mentioned in my previous post.
Lot 719 is S335 and is not suitable for your application.
Avoid Lots 81,88 and 89
