About the event
Categories:
The competition is divided into two main categories: Open and Junior.
The Open Category (Men and Ladies) consists of three stages, with three targets (or sets of targets) per stage, accommodating a total of 50 competitors
The Junior Category offers a scaled down challenge with one stage and five targets, featuring a total of 20 young competitors.
The scoring system for the competition is designed to reward precision.
Competitors are allotted five shots per target (Targets are between 70m - 450m), totaling 15 rounds per stage.
Scoring:
Scoring is calculated based on the round in which a hit is achieved:
a first-round impact scores the distance multiplied by 2
a second-round impact scores the distance multiplied by 1.75
a third-round impact scores the distance multiplied by 1.5
a fourth-round impact scores the distance multiplied by 1.25
and a fifth-round impact scores the distance multiplied by 1
Each stage must be completed within a time limit of 10 minutes.
This system encourages competitors to aim for accuracy with every shot while considering the environmental conditions at all times.
Prizes:
There will be medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place (Open Men, Open Woman and Juniors) at each event. Medals will be based on total score.
In the event of a tie, a sudden death shootout will be held at the furthest target of the day.

There will be local providers of food and beverages, please support our locals.
All competitors will receive a food and drink voucher on registration.
