Congrats, beautiful speciman. And you say 130gr brown box. I always said it was the "moer" beind the "roer"!

Thanks all, definite shoulder mount. Will post carcass wgt as soon as I send it out. Hanging in cold room at the moment, but we K.Ked off getting it into cold room, halved him but was still too heavy. I will 1/4 it when it goes out.

I'd like to see what a 130gr PMP looks like after an Eland ran into it!

When you see this, you realize that maybe it is time to upgrade to a better bullet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Wayne I use Nosler BTs in my 270, but when something bigger is on the menu I change to the Accubond.

Do the same in my other rifles when BC of bullets allow it.

Great specimen!

I like your experience, in stalking the eland from early till you could get a good shot at it! This is what hunting is about in my book.

I agree Wayne, The 130PMP worked but a premium bullet would probably be safer.

Barnes TSX or TTSX is my 1st choice, & will perform like advertised from your 270.
Hornady Interbond, Nosler Accubond also great choices.
