These are the facts: the people signing the book will be as follows:

1. Brigadier-General Charles Duke, Commander of the Lunar Module that landed on the moon in April 1972 for the Apollo 16mission, will be in attendance, with his wife Dorothy. General Duke was the youngest astronaut to set foot on the moon. He was only 36 years old at the time. Only twelve astronauts have landed on the moon, making it the most exclusive club in the world. The General and his wife are veteran hunters and he is deeply knowledgeable about ballistics and firearms.

2. Adelino SERRAS PIRES, whose autobiography THE WINDS OF HAVOC:
A Memoir of Adventure and Destruction in Deepest Africa, is the focus of the book singing event, will be in attendance, obviously. He hosted the Dukes in Mozambique in April 1973 ¬ a year after the historic Apollo16 mission.
Adelino was the Œface¹ and international promotional personality of the fabled SAFRIQUE, the largest and most diverse safari company in all Africa at the time. Adelino was directly responsible for bringing the first astronauts to hunt in Mozambique ¬ James Lovell of Apollo 13 was another such astronaut.

3. Fiona CAPSTICK wrote the autobiography, in conjunction with Adelino,
her husband and after years of research. The 1st edition was published in new York in huge acclaim and a dose of controversy. This is anew and infinitely better edition ¬ profusely illustrated for the first time ¬published right here, in Johannesburg by Rowland Ward of Johannesburg. For the record,. Fiona became the first woman ever to be published by that century-old company and the only woman writer to then be published twice after that by the same company.
General Duke will have come off a hunting safari in the Western Cape, just before the book signing. He travels the world on lecturetours and is in massive demand. We are lucky beyond words that he will be with us on the day. This is hunting history and space exploration history rolled into one.
