130gr tips in 30-06

Post by apie08 »

has anyone had success with 130gr tips in a 30-06? i want to start reloading these for varminting, but most of the 'gurus' at the gun shops are telling me that they aren't accurate, and i should just stick to 150 or 180gr tips. i want to prove them wrong, any help?

jy wen nie feel met die 110gr in die 30-06 nie.  bly maar eerder by die 130gr! iused 130gr sierras loaded with 53gr of s 341 and they ran at about 3000ft/s and produced inch groupings at a 100m. it is a mild load though so you can go up quite a bit!
