Where: Bela Bela Shooting range. GPS 24.49.50.53 S 28.13.25.45 E
Directions: Just after the Forever resort turn right on the Alma / Rankins pass road the range is about 15 km out of town.
Shooting In Range: 200m range will be available
Prize giving: At the shooting range after the shoot (bring own chairs), there will be a Braai at the Prize giving after the shoot.
Time: Registration: 06h30 to 07h30.
Briefing: 07h30 to 08h00. - All competitors must attend
Shoot Starts: 08h15 – Entries close at 08H00
Entries: Online entries close on Tues 16 June 23h00.
Costs: R300 per person for SAJSV members. Web entries close on Tues 16 June at 23h00.
R400 per person for SAJSV Members entering on the day.
R300 per person for non SAJSV members.
R150 per additional dependent family member where Main member has entered at full price.
Ammunition required: 30 for the competition.
Rifle: Any centre fire rifle and any rifle scope (Batteries of scopes with build-in range finders will be removed and will be sealed)
Targets: Life size Springbok, Warthog, Impala, Blesbuck and Jackal paper targets and 200 mm “gongs”. 6 Ranges - Each range 5 shots.
Distances: Unknown distances, 50m tot 350m.
Positions: Shooting positions vary but might include Sitting, Standing, Kneeling, Lying down. On some ranges shooting rests will be supplied.
Rules: Rules as defined by the SA Hunting Rifle Shooting Association (SAJSV). The rules are on the website www.sahuntingrifle.co.za.
No rangefinders, binoculars, wind meters are allowed on the course.
Bring with: Member card, rifle, Licence, ammunition, rifle bag, ear protection, chair, hat, sun screen.
General: This competition is open to all shooters. The points will count towards SAJSV national ranking list and 2 points towards dedicated sport shooter.
